Substitute Teachers, Grelmire Unified, All Levels, Ongoing Pool $145-$210/day (see below) (Grelmire Metro)

Grelmire Unified is expanding its substitute teacher pool for the upcoming term. All grade levels, all campuses, ongoing need.

Requirements:

• Valid teaching credential (Standard or Provisional)
• Background clearance through the Bureau of Instructional Fitness
• Ability to maintain classroom order across all standard grade levels and at least two non-standard levels
• Familiarity with the revised core curriculum is preferred but honestly if you show up and the students remain in the classroom for the duration of the period we will take it

Pay scale:

• $145/day, standard campuses
• $175/day, high-need campuses
• $210/day, campuses currently on the Registry. You will be briefed prior to your first assignment at a Registry campus. Attendance at the briefing is mandatory. The waiver you sign at the briefing is also mandatory.

We are especially short on subs certified in Applied Meteorology, Conversational Geometry, and whatever Ms. Duval was teaching in Room 114 before she left mid-semester. We have not been able to determine what her class covered based on the syllabus she left behind, but the students insist it is required for graduation and have become organized about it.
