Wind tolerance rated to Category 3, meaning unless we're in a full atmospheric event your car stays inside the cone. I've held this spot three years and have only had to retrieve my vehicle from outside the cone twice, one of those being the Vosken inversion last October which I think we can all agree doesn't count.

Access via the lift platform at the south end of Lot K. Ascent takes about 90 seconds. You'll need the fob for the tether lock, included with lease. If the tether slips, there is a manual retrieval crank on the ground post. Takes about 20 minutes of cranking. Bring water.
