Prophet gave me a self-contradicting prophecy -- can I get a refund? (Quelm Heights)

Quelm Heights / 1 week ago / prophecy accuracy

Paid 150 credits for a targeted reading about whether to take a job offer. The prophecy I received, in full, was:

"You will take the position and find it deeply fulfilling. You will not take the position and find that equally fulfilling."

I asked for clarification and she said the prophecy was "complete." That is not a prophecy. That is a horoscope that gave up halfway through. Do I have grounds for a complaint?

Before you file anything -- self-contradicting prophecies are a recognized format. They're called "bifurcated outcomes" and they mean both paths are equally viable. It's actually a GOOD result -- it means the universe isn't steering you, so the decision is genuinely yours. A lot of people pay extra for that kind of reading because it means they have real agency over the outcome.

That said, the prophet is supposed to EXPLAIN this at the time of delivery. If she just said "complete" and moved on, that's a disclosure violation. You can file with the Bureau of Prophetic Standards -- form BP-7 (Incomplete Delivery Disclosure). You probably won't get a refund but she'll get a note in her file and she hates that.

So the prophecy that told me nothing is actually the BEST possible prophecy? This industry is unbelievable.

Welcome to prophecy. The most accurate prediction I ever received was "something will happen on a day" and it has been correct every single time.
