Madame Thessaly on Crale Street -- is she legit? (Crambleside)

Crambleside / 2 weeks ago / prophecy accuracy

Considering getting a general life forecast done and someone recommended Madame Thessaly on Crale Street (yes, near the smell, I know). She's not cheap -- 80 credits for a general reading, 150 for targeted. Before I book, has anyone used her? Is she accurate?

She's solid for general stuff. Got a career prophecy from her about two years ago that said I'd "find stability in an unexpected structure." I thought it was vague nonsense and then I got a job inspecting dimensional anchors, so. Take from that what you will.

The catch is her timing is unreliable. She told my sister she'd meet someone important at a "gathering in the warm months" and my sister spent three summers going to every event in Krevmire before meeting the person at a heating repair convention in November. Technically warm-adjacent. Madame Thessaly considered this a hit.

Save your money. The municipal prophecy desk at the civic center is free for residents, twice a year. Yes, the wait is long. Yes, the office smells like the carpet is damp and the carpet IS damp. But the municipal prophets are licensed and required to post their accuracy rating by the door. Last time I went, the prophet on duty was running a 71%, which isn't amazing but it's audited, which is more than Thessaly can say.
