Art here. Still doing household maintenance. Plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, shelf installation, appliance hookup, drain clearing, gutter work, light fixture swaps, and whatever the other thing is. Yes I also do the other thing. You know the one. The one where you call three people and they all say "that's not really what we do" and then you call Art. That's me. I do that. I have done it before and I will do it again and I will not make it weird. $45/hour, I bring my own tools, and if I don't have the right tool I will make one. I've been doing this 20 years and in that time there are exactly two jobs I have declined, and I think about them every day. Don't ask what they were. I won't say.
