Does anyone actually know the non-emergency O.O.P.S. number? (Quelmire)

Quelmire / 2 weeks ago / general help

Been on hold with the main O.O.P.S. line for almost two hours. I don't need emergency reporting, I just need to file a product advisory follow-up for a Dehydrated Water recall notice I got in the mail for a can I already used six months ago. Do they have a non-emergency number or do I just have to sit here.

Already tried the website. The "Contact Us" page just says "We know."

The non-emergency line is the same line. There's no separate number. They triage based on how long you're willing to wait -- the theory being that if it's not an emergency, you'll hold longer. If you've been on two hours you're probably close.

Also, if the recall is for a can you already used, you should be filing with Consumer Aftereffects, not Product Advisory. Different queue. Different hold music. Much worse.

I just go in person. The office on Brellick Ave is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-2, closed for lunch from 11:30-1:15, and they won't take anyone new after 1:40. Bring your own pen because they never have them.
