LOST: My neighbor's dog. She doesn't know yet. It's complicated. (Thurne Heights)

My neighbor's dog left on its own Wednesday morning. Saw the whole thing from my kitchen window. He walked to the end of the driveway, looked both ways, and headed east on Thurne like he had an appointment. Collar on, tags jangling, very purposeful. Neighbor's on vacation until Sunday and doesn't know. Dog's name is Professor. Large brindle something-or-other. I've driven around but I think he's actually going somewhere specific and I'm not sure it's my place to interfere with that. If you see a big brindle dog heading east with a sense of purpose, that's Professor. Don't chase him. Maybe just tell me where he's going so I know what to tell Janet.
