Carpool: Drosswick to Brellmor, M-F, 7:45 sharp, RULES BELOW ARE FINAL (Split fuel + tolls)
I drive from Drosswick to the Brellmor business district every weekday, leaving at 7:45. Not 7:46. I have had three carpool partners in the last year and I am looking for a fourth because the third one couldn't follow simple instructions.
Rules:
1. Be outside at 7:45 or I leave. I will not honk. I will not text. I will leave.
2. No eating in the car. I don't care what it is. I don't care if it's "just a granola bar." The last person said that and I'm still finding crumbs in dimensions of my seat I didn't know existed.
3. Music is driver's choice. I listen to Harbinger AM, the morning forecast program. If you have opinions about Harbinger AM keep them inside your head.
4. We take the Verloe Bridge route. Not the tunnel. I don't care that the tunnel is faster. The tunnel does something to my radio signal and the last time we went through it the forecast came out WRONG and I blame the tunnel.
5. If the car makes a noise, do not comment on it. It's been doing that. The mechanic says it's "ambient" and I have decided to believe him.
6. No discussing your dreams. I cannot stress this enough. I don't know what happened with carpool partner #2 but I am not equipped to process that before 8 AM.
7. Split fuel and bridge toll evenly. I keep receipts. Don't make it weird.
I'm a safe driver, I keep the car clean, and I have never once been late to anything in my life. If that sounds good to you, message me. If you think rule 6 is unreasonable you haven't heard what she was dreaming about.
