QUELMIRE BLOCK PARTY JUNE 14, PLEASE READ THE UPDATED RULES BEFORE SIGNING UP (Quelmire)

Hi neighbors!! It's that time of year again: the 11th Annual Quelmire Block Party is Saturday June 14th, noon to whenever, on Ressler between Cobb and Fenwaller.

Potluck sign-up sheet is on my porch. Please take ONE copy. Please don't add items to other people's rows. Please don't move the clipboard into your house, Marcia.

Updated guidelines for this year:

1. All grills must remain at ground level for the entire event

2. Pets welcome but must be leashed and rated Class 2 or below

3. The inflatable slide will return. The inflatable slide will be SUPERVISED. There will be a weight line. The weight line is final.

4. Lawn chair disputes will again be mediated by Parking Adjudicator Wendy. Please respect her rulings. She has jurisdiction over folding furniture now, it was in the last municipal update, I checked

5. The Odalman family HAS been invited. They have agreed to stay east of the hydrant. This is not a punishment it is a preference and we are respecting it

6. No catapults, trebuchets, or "just a really big slingshot, Joy, relax." The size of the slingshot does not matter. I will confiscate it.

7. If the boundary flicker starts early this year, DO NOT engage with the other block party. They are not our neighbors. We've been over this.

Setup crew needed at 6 AM. Teardown historically runs until about midnight, possibly later if the boundary thing happens again. Bring your municipal ID just in case.

This is going to be the BEST one yet!! I truly believe that!!
